How to Read Labels for Fat?

Fat!!!!

The most of the people hear the word fat and get scared. The only thing that comes to mind is weight gain, high cholesterol, cellulite,.....

So, Is Fat Good or Bad for You?

Yes, Fat is good. We do need fat. Our bodies need fat for insulation, vitamin and mineral absorption, and to protect our organs. High-quality fats can steady our metabolism, keep hormone levels even, nourish our skin, hair, and nails, and provide lubrication to keep the body functioning fluidly.

However, not all fats are made equal so we have to choose the right fats for the body.

Listen to this video to learn what is fat, what fat is doing in our body, which are the healthy fats that we want to put in the body, and how to read labels to look for any hidden bad oil when we go to the supermarket.

I would love to hear in the comments below which is your favorite fat and how you use it in the kitchen.

Warmly,

Elena
