What is Reiki? 


Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is the Japanese word for Universal Life Force Energy (rei-ki). It is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation. It is a form of spiritual healing that involves the transfer of universal life energy from the practitioner to the receiver. A person is susceptible to sickness and stress when the life energy is low and imbalance; however, a person finds the healthy balance when the life energy is high.


Reiki does not represent a religion of its own and does not cure medical conditions. It is used as a holistic alternative medicine that complements traditional western medicine and establish the balance of body, mind and spirit through relaxation and distress.


Reiki has been described as a “way of living” and establish 5 Reiki precepts or principles for a balance healthy living.

Reiki Treatment

Reiki sessions last 30 or 60 minutes. The client is fully clothed and stands, sits or lies down. It is a gentle hands-on energy healing therapy from heads to feet. The receiver of Reiki must feel warmth, calmness, decrease pain and relaxation of body mind and spirit. Reiki is not invasive and has only benefitial sides effects such as comfort, increases good mood, clears mind, balances emotions and promotes better quality of life.
